Simple thoughts pt.5

I remember the day I realised I was sinner and I needed Jesus. What a moment that was! When I was faced with the undeniable truth. What made the moment more memorable was encountering the love of God, coming face to face with the manifestation of God’s love, Jesus Christ. I came to understand that I was finally fulfilling my purpose, to be in communion with my creator and I had never felt so complete. Being at His feet is where I belong and beholding His beauty is all I want to do all the days of my life.

Reminiscing on that moment when I said yes to Jesus brings me unexplainable joy because that is the day I changed my life for the better, for “the best” in fact.

He won my heart, He picked me up, and that’s why I’ve given my everything to Him. He’s freed me and transformed my life so I lay down my life for His glory. And so should you. Christ came to die for me and you and realising this changes your life.

We chase after fleeting desires and are never satisfied. But my oh my, Jesus satisfies like no other. He fills my heart and makes me content even when everything is empty. With Him, I am complete and don’t need anything because He is my everything.
